Josh Rom

After cutting his teeth at one of the UK’s leading Showbiz News agencies, Josh was taken on by talkRADIO and went on to become their longest-serving Entertainment Correspondent. He has secured exclusive interviews with some of the biggest Hollywood names in the world including Samuel L. Jackson, Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Sir Ralph Fiennes to name just a few, one particular highlight was having tea with Oscar Winner Renée Zellweger. He was one of only a few to secure an exclusive interview with Lily James after she pulled out of the likes of Graham Norton and Good Morning America.

Josh has interviewed a long list of names on the red carpet making up the whose who of the industry. This includes music superstars like Dua Lipa, Robbie Williams and Nile Rodgers, other Hollywood names such as Tom Hanks, Dame Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson and Emily Blunt, worldwide wrestlers like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Triple H to even Fergie Duchess of York. In terms of punditry, he’s broken huge showbiz news on-air and spear-headed the station’s Award Season coverage for four consecutive years. He was also heavily involved in TV pilots with the likes of James Whale and was the idea behind the Entertainment News Bulletins on talkTV.

Aside from showbiz, Josh is a seasoned Royal Commentator appearing on programmes in Asia and The Middle East where he reported outside the Lindo Wing on the birth of Prince Louis for MBC and commentated on the funeral of his Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh for Indus News in Pakistan. He continues to use his extensive contact book to break Royal exclusives to this day.

As well as interviewing talent, Josh has been on-air with some of the biggest broadcasting names in the country including Jeremy Vine, Simon McCoy, Kirsty Gallacher, Alastair Stewart, Julia Hartley-Brewer and more. He has previously been invited onto the likes of BBC News, Sky News, Channel 5 News, and The Jeremy Vine Show. Josh has worked with other national titles including The Evening Standard and The Jewish News.

Most recently he was a part of the innovative Channel 4 Digital Series, Hot Takes, going out on all the channel’s social media pages including Facebook, TikTik, Instagram and Twitter. He was also a major part of Times Radio’s Platinum Jubilee coverage, commentating both in the studio and reporting on the ground. He was recently invited again onto Sky News to discuss the highly publicised Wagatha Christie case and can also be found regularly on BBC Local Radio, launching a new weekly feature with BBC Radio One’s Alice Dale. He is also currently writing and reporting for the Daily Star online, breaking news and sourcing even more exclusives!
