Jeremy Edwards is one of Britain’s most recognisable television personalities, with a career spanning more than three decades across drama, presenting, broadcasting, journalism and live entertainment.
Jeremy first became a household name when he was cast as Kurt Benson in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, one of the original and most popular characters in the long-running soap. He went on to establish himself as a leading television actor playing Danny Shaughnessy in the BBC’s Holby City, a role which earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards.
His television acting credits also include the hugely successful CBBC family comedy Millie Inbetween, as well as appearances across numerous British television dramas, films and stage productions.
Alongside acting, Jeremy has built an extensive career as a television presenter, broadcaster and commentator. He has been a regular contributor to programmes including The Jeremy Vine Show, The Wright Stuff, Good Morning Britain, This Morning and Loose Women and has appeared across a broad range of entertainment, factual and current affairs programming.
Jeremy has also guest-hosted The Wright Stuff and presented programmes including Coronation Street/Emmerdale Confidential and Cooking the Books. More recently, he joined the presenting team at Ideal World, further establishing himself as an experienced and highly adaptable live television presenter.
His natural warmth, quick wit and ability to communicate complex subjects in an accessible way have made Jeremy particularly effective within current affairs, lifestyle, entertainment and discussion-based television.
Away from conventional broadcasting, Jeremy has appeared on some of British television’s best-known entertainment formats including Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice, Celebrity MasterChef, Hell’s Kitchen, Celebrity Mastermind, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
Jeremy is also an accomplished writer, journalist and public speaker, bringing together his experience in television, performance and communication. He regularly works with businesses and individuals through his public-speaking and presentation training, helping professionals communicate with greater confidence, clarity and impact.
A graduate in Politics and Public Administration, Jeremy has a natural interest in current affairs, politics, social issues and the media, making him equally comfortable interviewing, debating, presenting or contributing his own perspective to topical programming.
His theatre career has included West End work such as Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the Playhouse Theatre, alongside Jared Harris, as well as numerous touring productions and live performances.
