Christel Cowdrey

Christel Cowdrey is a Swedish Anglophile and came to England with her family at the tender age of 5 years old.

She is a Creative – a Mezzo, Jazz singer, an award winning author, creative writer and Voiceover professional; a ‘Passionista’ of Interior Design, trading as ‘Noblesse Interiors & Lifestyle’ but most importantly, she is a parent (speaks and has a big view on the subject), a Mummy of twin sons and, a former wife of some 23 years.

In her 20’s, she was ‘spotted’ and modelled all over Europe, worked in international research using her languages for a renowned American Consultancy Group and, trained in News Journalism at the NBS.

Falling in love and marrying meant spending blissful years caring for two beautiful sons who are now 28, both of whom were ‘whisked up in a saucer’, via IVF at The Lister on the first attempt, by the revered Micro Surgeon Sam Abdalla, which has endlessly been referred to as ‘somewhat miraculous’.

Years in the country have now been replaced by a new London home, reuniting with old friends, vibrant visits to galleries, ‘Spinning’ as exercise and re-training as an Accredited Mediator at Regent’s University; seeking resolution, the ‘Truth Catching the Lie’ has been her driver since the beginning of time and will undoubtedly be her epitaph.

Christel recently fulfilled an Interior design contract of 5 apartments, in a statuesque building in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, so her time was split with weekly travels to ‘The Beautiful North’ until July.

Christel’s second book ‘How To Fire Your Husband (A Miraculous Divorce)”, will be launched in the Spring of 2022, published by Cranthorpe Millner; her first book, co-authored ‘Imagine A Healthy You’ , written for those rehabilitating after injury using Visualisation, reached international best seller status – which blew her away!

The Precious Age is her next book, a subject dear to her heart, since she has reached that spectacular summit, where one can be authentically oneself and continue to reach for the stars!
