Tony Charles

Tony Charles is a British actor with a strong screen presence, natural physicality and a background that gives him an authenticity particularly suited to film and television roles requiring confidence, authority and edge.

Having trained at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School from an early age, Tony began his career in performance before stepping away from acting to pursue professional sport. That experience has given him a distinctive combination of acting training, discipline, athleticism and real-world experience which he now brings to his work on screen.

Since returning to acting, Tony has built credits across film and television, including appearances in Dream Team and the internationally successful football feature Goal!, alongside supporting roles in independent feature films including Best Geezer.

A former professional sportsman and model, Tony is equally comfortable with dialogue-driven and physically demanding roles. His look and presence lend themselves particularly well to crime drama, thrillers, action, sports-based productions and contemporary British drama, with the ability to play everything from polished professionals and authoritative figures to harder-edged, intimidating characters.

Tony is now actively developing his film and television career and is available for consideration for feature films, television drama and streaming productions.
