STANDARD BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all engagements arranged by Celeb Agents / Celebrity PR Ltd (“the Agency”) on behalf of its represented artist, presenter, performer, chef, personality or speaker (“the Artist”) and the contracting client (“the Client”).
1. Agency Authority & Re-Bookings
All bookings and any subsequent re-bookings of the Artist, whether by the Client or any associated or subsidiary company, must be arranged exclusively through the Agency.
2. Fees & Payments
All fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and payable to Celeb Agents / Celebrity PR Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No payments shall be made directly to the Artist without prior written consent of the Agency.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed fee is payable upon confirmation of the booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than seven (7) days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is not received by the agreed date, the Agency reserves the right to cancel the booking without liability.
Interest may be charged on overdue sums at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
All visas, work permits and associated costs are the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise agreed.
3. Performance Obligations
The Artist shall perform the engagement in a professional manner and to the best of their ability in accordance with the agreed booking terms.
In the event that, following confirmation of the booking, the Artist becomes unavailable due to a television, film, broadcast or other significant professional commitment which was not known or reasonably foreseeable at the time the engagement was agreed, the Agency and/or Artist shall have the right to withdraw from the engagement without liability. The Client shall be informed as soon as reasonably practicable. Where reasonably possible, the Agency will endeavour to assist in identifying a suitable alternative, but no obligation to provide a replacement shall arise.
The Artist’s participation is conditional upon the engagement not conflicting with the Artist’s professional reputation, existing commercial commitments, or broadcast, recording or publicity obligations.
Where additional performers, speakers or contributors are intended to appear as part of the engagement, full details must be submitted to the Agency in advance and the engagement shall remain subject to the Agency’s prior written approval of such participants.
4. Illness or Unavailability
If accident or illness prevents the Artist fulfilling the engagement, the Agency will use reasonable endeavours to provide a suitable alternative but cannot guarantee availability and accepts no liability if a replacement cannot be secured.
For group or band bookings, management reserves the right to provide a deputy performer if required.
5. Force Majeure
Neither the Agency nor Artist shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control including, but not limited to, war, national mourning, fire, strikes, pandemics, travel bans, government restrictions, natural disasters or venue closure. Notice shall be given as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing.
• Cancellation within 14 working days: 100% fee payable
• Cancellation between 15–31 working days: 50% fee payable
• Deposits are non-refundableThe Agency reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client becomes insolvent or engages in conduct likely to damage the Artist’s reputation.
7. Travel, Accommodation, Hospitality & Expenses
All agreed travel, accommodation, transfers and hospitality costs are the responsibility of the Client unless agreed otherwise.
Where the engagement involves a chef or cookery appearance, all food, ingredient and catering consumable costs must be organised and fully covered by the Client.
The Agency and Artist are not liable for travel disruption beyond their control.
8. Technical & Event Requirements
The Client must provide suitable staging, sound, lighting, staffing, security and working conditions necessary for the engagement.
Failure to do so may result in cancellation or reduced performance time without refund.
The Artist shall not be required to perform beyond agreed times without prior agreement and additional fees.
9. Recording, Advertising & Content Approval
No filming, photography, recording or reproduction of the Artist’s appearance is permitted without prior written approval.
Any use of images, video or recordings of the Artist for advertising, publicity, social media or marketing in any media requires prior written Agency approval before publication.
Unauthorised use may result in cancellation and recovery of damages.
10. Insurance & Safety
The Client is responsible for venue safety and must maintain adequate public liability insurance.
11. Security
Appropriate security arrangements must be provided where reasonably required.
12. Social Media & Public Content
The Client may not publish content featuring the Artist without Agency approval.
13. No Endorsement or Implied Association
The Artist’s appearance does not constitute endorsement unless separately agreed in writing.
14. Artificial Intelligence & Digital Likeness Protection
The Client shall not use AI or digital technologies to reproduce or simulate the Artist’s voice, likeness or performance without prior written approval.
15. Non-Circumvention
The Client agrees not to engage the Artist directly for 12 months following the engagement without Agency consent. Agency commission remains payable on future bookings arising from the introduction.
16. Postponement / Rescheduling
Requests to move dates are treated as cancellation unless the Artist agrees and is available. Existing payments may be applied to the new date. Additional costs remain payable.
17. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
