Bennett Arron is an award-winning comedian, writer, actor and TV and radio presenter, known for his sharp observational comedy, distinctive storytelling and quick wit.
He starred in all four series of the BBC Radio 4 sitcom Alone and has performed extensively across the UK as well as entertaining audiences internationally in Italy, Australia, Germany, Poland, South Africa and Hong Kong.
Bennett has also supported Ricky Gervais on tour and has established himself as a highly respected comedy writer and performer across television, radio and live entertainment.
As a broadcaster, Bennett has presented and directed documentaries for both the BBC and Channel 4. He was BAFTA shortlisted for his Channel 4 documentary How To Steal An Identity, which explored identity theft in a highly personal, entertaining and thought-provoking way.
He has written and starred in a number of successful BBC radio series, with his work receiving nominations at the Celtic Media Awards.
Bennett is a past winner of both the TAPS Comedy Writer of the Year Award and the BBC New Writers’ Award, as well as a former finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards.
Alongside his comedy and broadcasting work, Bennett is an experienced presenter, interviewer and after-dinner performer, equally at home working in front of a television camera, behind a radio microphone or entertaining a live audience.
Despite all those achievements, Bennett maintains that one of his proudest moments remains coming third in an international disco dancing championship.
