Kenny Boyle is an actor and playwright from the Isle of Lewis. Kenny trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a recipient of Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland’s New Playwrights’ award 2021. He plays the lead role of Rob in feature film Lost at Christmas, which was broadcast on BBC Scotland and BBC ONE on Christmas day.

His debut novel – The Tick and the Tock of the Crocodile Clock – will be released in early 2022.

Kenny was a cast member in Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s first winter ensemble 2021.

His writing credits include Eerie Isles (supported by Creative Scotland); An Isolated Incident (supported by Creative Scotland); Hero Worship (Scottish Tour); Playthrough (Borderline, development week) Aladdin (MA Productions); and We Never Land (Edinburgh Festival Fringe)

Stage credits include A Tempest (Tron Theatre); All’s Well That Ends Well (Shakespeare’s Globe); The Tempest (Tron Theatre); The Comedy of Errors (Bard in the Botanics); and Isobel Wright’s Blind Eye (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland)
He has created site specific pieces for Culzean Castle, Eastwood House, Police Scotland Young Volunteers, and many others and is an official celebrity patron of the Tamfest festival in Ayr.

His debut radio play The Knock Of The Ban-Sithe will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in the second half of 2022
